About the Role
Catalina Gardens is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Gardener to join our growing team. This role focuses on hands-on garden maintenance for properties throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in high-quality work, and has a strong eye for plant health and garden aesthetics.
This position plays a key role in maintaining the beauty and reputation of our client gardens.
Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs repeatedly
Reliable transportation to shop or job sites
Strong work ethic and punctuality
Comfortable working on hands and knees for extended periods
Basic understanding of garden tools and equipment
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Driver's License.
6 months minimum experience in horticulture which may include but not limited to landscape maintenance, nursery/greenhouse operations, or 10 credit hours in a horticultural training program.
Must be able to work Monday - Friday; between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. with occasional weekends. Please note, hours will vary depending on scheduled clients. This position is seasonal. Work season is approximately from March to November.
Demonstrate courtesy when dealing with public and other staff.
